We are a dedicated group of political communications professionals, strategists, and community organizers with decades of combined experience in rural outreach, independent expenditure campaigns, and local media.

Americans United was formed to address a critical gap in progressive infrastructure: the absence of any major organization running sustained, large-scale media campaigns in rural America through the channels rural voters actually trust — local radio, weekly newspapers, and the billboards they pass every day.

Our team brings deep expertise in rural media markets, community-based research, and the kind of locally authentic creative development that national organizations have consistently failed to deliver. We've run independent expenditure campaigns in some of the most competitive rural districts in the country, and we know what works.
